wow, we have the same eating arrangements! granted, we do have a small kitchen table but we'll usually eat on the couch with the help of our bench/ottoman/thingy.
Oh you make couch dining look so elegant. (Unlike the pretty undignified set up at my place.)
That's only because we were having people over. Normally it's dinner on the lap.
