Was this sort of arrangement a trend this year or have I just been oblivious in the past? I've seen it all over Boston and in Park Slope but the pepper and purple ornamental cabbage combo never fails to impress, especially in a black urn.
I've seen cabbages for just the last year or two. So, yeah, I guess it's a trend - now buried under a foot of dirty snow.
