Shopping bag art

Tell my I'm not the only one who has a hard time throwing out a pretty shopping bag. Even when I dug it out of someone else's trash.

  1. Ah, a fine new idea. Surely designer brands should issue designer receipts which we could also frame, to remind us of how much we spent?

  2. No joke, Chanel made a black leather tote designed to look like a Chanel shopping bag. I don't know what it cost. Someone really should make a designer receipt out of leather.

  5. These are great! I'll have to hit up my bougie sister-in-law to get bags like this though...

Lord knows the bags from Target aren't fancy enough to frame.

  6. Maybe if you were a fashion stylist or something, and you use them in this manner to decorate your office. Otherwise, I tose them in the trash at some point. :)

  7. This is genius. I have a problem with getting rid of pretty bags too. My mom used to call me a bag lady. This will turn my "trash" into art. Love it.

  8. I agree, it is hard to get rid of a pretty bag, but unless they're earning a place in your home (like these gorgeous examples), then hanging onto them is a slippery slope!
