The New York TimesA few days ago, The New York Times featured a $5,000 makover of an 850-square-foot apartment. That's exactly the amount of money we spent on our last car. Cool antiques like the tripod lamp above took a big chunk of change.
That being said, the layout alone vastly improved the space. Watch and learn.

I love the separation of the sleeping area with the book shelves. Brilliant (and thanks to IKEA, inexpensive) idea.

ReplyDeleteI like the layout but I wish there were more color. Not necessarily bright color, just more. There just doesn't seem to be a cohesive color story in the space.
