My celebrity footstool is here, thanks to AT blogger Amy Azzarito. Amy got hammered about a year ago for suggesting a $20 Moroccan pouf, yet she fearlessly revisited the subject.
Many thanks to Red Shoes for jumping in and saying something nice. Those AT'ers are a tough crowd.
i think it looks rad. totally going to steal your idea.
ReplyDeleteAren't the commenters on AT the WORST? It's like the anonymity gives them complete license to be totally cruel. i had a project featured there once and someone said my house looked like their mother's in the 70's. nice, right?
ReplyDeletecongrats anyway on the feature! amy rocks--she's so sweet!
They really are a tough crowd sometimes. But the post has led me to your blog, which I've read all the way to the beginning and enjoyed immensely. And I think I will try a variation of the ottoman this weekend. Thank you for posting it.
ReplyDeleteMy pleasure. Don't worry about the tough critics. I think some of them missed the whole point of why your pouf was brilliant.
ReplyDeleteHa. I think some are mislead by the 'therapy' in Apartment Therapy and came to the wrong blog.
ReplyDeletebtw, I still loves U AT.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the feature! It's great to be on AT and scary at the same time because they are so ruthless. I still think it was a brilliant project and you deserve all the praise.
ReplyDeletethey are a tough crowd but big congrats to you!
ReplyDeleteughghghg, i only have one word (okay two words) for you, "pretentious snobs." i think your diy project rocked.
