Words to live by

"Happiness is having a large, loving, close-knit family in another city." George Burns, quoted in the London Independent

I've been saving this quote for a long time. I'm going to see family tomorrow.

For the record, this quote was submitted by a family member.

  1. Haha. I do wish my family lived closer, though - they're all at least 16 hours away (by car). But perhaps I should be feeling lucky instead?

    Have a great visit!

  2. Oh very true! May the visit go well. You seem such a smiley sort that it's bound to.

  3. I do have to agree with 'another city', but it would be nice if that city were around 90 mins drive away: close enough for lunch, but not for unplanned visits.
My folks are 5000 miles away and frankly, that's a bit too far :)
